The Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) is ready to turn Blantyre blue as preparations for their two-day convention are complete.
This morning, the party is holding its elective conference at Comesa Hall.
The convention's theme is "A Return to Proven Leadership: A Call to All Malawians to Restore Hope, Rebuild the Economy, and Heal Our Nation's Fractured Unity."
Delegates are now entering the hall, with the conference scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
Security is tight, with private security personnel and police officers present.
The party’s president, Professor Peter Mutharika, is expected to open the meeting.
