Chiperoni type of weather,which is associated with rain drizzles and showers,fog,windy and chilly conditions is expected to start weakening from today,Sunday 25th May 2025 due to the influence of cool and fairly moist south easterlies.

Strong Mwera Winds with speed of about 50km/hr blowing over Lake Malawi and other water bodies will continue weakening.Regardless,stay alert and take necessary precautions to protect life and property.

Shire valley should expect cloudy conditions with isolated rain drizzles and fog patches tonight and during morning.Mostly cloudy and warm conditions in the afternoon with forecast temperatures of minimum 18 degrees celcius and maximum 25 degrees celcius in Ngabu.

Southern Highlands should expect cloudy conditions with isolated rain drizzles and fog patches tonight and during morning.Mostly cloudy and mild conditions in the afternoon hours with forecast temperatures of minimum 14 degrees celcius and maximum 21 degrees celcius in Blantyre.

Central areas should generally expect cloudy,cold and foggy conditions with moderate blowing in some areas tonight and during morning.Mostly cloudy conditions and mild temperatures in the afternoon with forecast temperatures of minimum 12 degrees celcius and maximum 23 degrees celcius in Lilongwe.

Lakeshore areas should expect windy,cloudy and mild  conditions with isolated rain drizzles tonight and during morning .Windy and warm conditions in the afternoon hours with forecast temperatures of minimum 18 degrees celcius and maximum 25 degrees celcius in Mangochi.

Northern areas should expect cloudy conditions with fog patches and Isolated rain drizzles tonight and during morning.Mostly cloudy and mild conditions with isolated rain drizzles in the afternoon with forecast temperatures of minimum 13 degrees celcius and maximum 19 degrees celcius in Mzuzu.
